Exercises For My Lower Back Pain?
What exercises should I be doing for lower back pain?
I’ve got REALLY severe lower back pain, can barely move. Taking a concoction of strong pain killers plus diazepam to reduce the muscle spasm, but although it’s helping a bit it’s still very painful.
Anyone know what kind of physiotherapy type exercises are recommended for lower back pain?

if its that painful you should just rest it till it feels a bit more stable, and gentle stretches evey day should help-yes light yoga is mostly gentle stretches that should help.
Light yoga
Lie face down on the floor. Lift up your upper body with your arms straight and arch your back with your head up. Leave your pelvic area and legs flat on the ground at all times. Hold this position for 20 seconds, then relax by laying face down on the floor again for 20 seconds. Repeat 10 times every 2 hours.
I found this helps with the pain quickly when I get lower back pain due to lumbar 5 disc problems.

If you are still having back pain even while on medication, then it means the problem is still there. So you need to do corrective exercises to remove the problem and then preventative exercises to stop it coming back.
All back pain is a combination of – tight joints, tight muscles, pelvic imbalance, weak muscles (related to nerve supply not actual physical strength).
You need to target each of these if you want to stop your back pain. Otherwise it will either come back again soon, or not disappear 100% anyway.
The best thing is these techniques you can do at home and ease the pain quickly. They only take a few minutes each day to do and are 100% safe. Only doing a few stretches will just at most ease the pain further but not remove it totally.

Exercising helps, but you might have to do it for 100 times to see the complete result. I have a recommendation for you:
