Getting Rid of Severe Lower Back Pain?
How do I get rid of severe lower back pain?
I have a lot of pain in the lower right side of my back. I’ve tried stretching, but that doesn’t work. I don’t recall doing anything that could have injured my back. I do alot of traveling, so i’m not sure if that could be the cause…

you may need to go to the chiropractor
Go to the doctor. It may not be your back, it may be something in the vicinity of your back.
have someone give u a back massage on the regular.
Not enough information. It could be (1) pulled muscles, (2) cracked or broken ribs (3) arthritis variant (4) bruise from contusion, fall etc.
Suggest getting referral to a Pain Clinic (they exist at some hospitals) if it does not improve.
take advil
Go to a chiropractor!!! They are that good. I did not beleive in them at first either. Trust me…when you are done you will be looking up my contact info to thank me.
You very possibly could have a kidney infection. Go see your doctor. I had lower back pain similar to that and the doctor ordered x-rays. What a waste. After a month a friend mentioned that I might have a kidney infection, I went back to the doctor and he took a urinalysis. Sure enough.
Take care of this soon. If it’s a kidney infection you need to get on antibiotics as soon as you can.
If it’s not a kidney infection, go see a chiropractor.
It all depends on what is causing the pain. When I hurt my back, (sledding), I went to a chiropractor and he told me I probably strained my back. He did whatever they do, and I felt better, but it took a lot of time. Also I took muscle relaxers and used heat pads. You need to see your doctor to see what is causing the pain and how to treat it. Do you remember doing something to injure it?
maybe go to a pyhcatrist and eat healthy food
Go to the doctor, not a chiropractor, not a massage therapist, not a physical therapist. Go to an MD and insist on X-rays.
I speak from first-hand experience. I suffered with agonizing lower back pain for months. Lots of Motrin, heating pads, and ice packs. I figured it was just "muscular" and I delayed going to the doctor.
I ended up in the emergency room followed by six weeks in a hospital bed.
Go see your doctor.
Good luck!
How’s your posture? Do you lift correctly by squatting and using your knees and thighs instead of bending at the waist? If not, it could be that poor posture has put a strain on your muscles, vertebra, and discs in your lower lumbar spine. I know, because I just started physical therapy. My therapist told me that my posture is terrible and that I am lifting all wrong. He feels that my posture, as well as my job ( I work on my feet and do a lot of twisting) is what probably did it!
A M. R. I. is the only test that can show,if you have any damage in the lower back.If you have pain going into the right leg,you need to have it done.
