I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book if you suffer from any kind of chronic pain. Even if your doctor has pronounced judgement that he/she knows what’s causing things, try this book. As the author says, trigger point therapy should be the first course of treatment: it’s easy and cheap.

I am 23 weeks pregnant and i have been experiencing some back pain for about the last 3 weeks.
It does seem a little early for your pain to be because of the baby as it is tiny at 7 weeks but everyone is different.
I find that sitting at a desk all day at work aggravates mine and in the morning when i get up it hurts as well.
I suppose i havent really given you anything tangible here to help you other than to say – i am sore too and a problem shared is a problem halved.
Good luck and congrats
I'm having baby number 5 and my back has hurt from the beginning,
I'm now 20weeks and the pains still there, i asked my midwife whats causing it and she thinks the baby is very low down and is pressing on my nerves so all i can hope is that the baby decides to move up a bit which is not guaranteed to happen .
i dont think its to early for you to be having back pain lots of women get it early
I didn't have backpains until I went into labour and I gained some 55 pounds approx. with the first one and the second one. But with the third one, I had backpains as soon as she moved, she was laying on my sciatica nerve and for 4 months I coudn't turn in bed nor sleep properly. I needed to get out of bed and then get back in the position I wanted to sleep in. However i had lost 19 pounds in the first two months because I had no appetite and thenI gained about 45 pounds.
Hey Girl good luck and good health.
I started at about 3 months. All my son did was kick back on my spine. If you are getting now I am so sorry for you. I just hope you don't get a lot of morning sickness and I hope you have a wonderful man to rub your back.
I am pregnant with my third baby. I have bad back problems, I was born with a disk missing out of my lower spine, so I have battled back pain my whole life. With my first two pregnancies I had no back pain, all of the pain I had to deal with on a daily basis was gone. But now with this baby I have extra pain. I have had it pretty much my whole pregnancy, I am 19 weeks. So I am thinking it will continue. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!!!!!
I am 17wks pregnant and yes, my back pain started early!! I think my back pain kicked in about 2months… and i've been dealing with it ever since. My doctor said it was perfectly normal to be feeling those aches and pains – even that early, and that he would worry if i didn't!!
It may also be the way you are sleeping that is contributing to it as well. I know that my mattress was perfectly comfortable until i became pregnant – i found the mattress unbearable so we went out and bought a new one. Back pain is still around but its not as severe – i attribute that to a firmer mattress!!
Good luck to you and baby!
Well, I wish I knew if you were larger breasted because that's how I was too. When you're that early in your pregnancy your breasts are sore and if their large too then that could be causing some extra stress to your back, the pregnancy itself might be contributing but I don't think you're far along enough for it to be your actual tummy. Then again, is it your upper back or lower back? Upper back is usually caused by the breasts and lower back is usually from what I've heard an epidural but I'm not sure if this is your first or not. Maybe you've got an extra little one in there, you never know. If I were you I'd talk to your doctor about it as soon as possible because if it's hurting now, it's going to be hurting a lot later on and after your have your baby it will just bother you even more, so you might want to ask what are some things you can avoid doing to less stress your back, also stray from getting an epidural when you do have your baby because it causes even more back problems later on. Good luck and I hope you fell better.
Something that can help relieve the pain and is beneficial to you and your baby in general is breathing some herbs like lavender oil, the anti-oxidants promote blood flow and cleansing.
