How would you know if a back ache is from your kidneys?

Question about back ache from kidneys..

I have had really bad pack pain in the middle of my back on the right side for a couple years. I went to a GP and they said that I don’t have a kidney infection. I went to a chiropractor and she said that it’s muscle. I have had several treatments with her and no luck. I truly believe that there is something wrong with my kidneys. While at the hospital while pregnant, I was given some tests. The nurse told me that “my kidney levels were low” but I didn’t hear anything else about it. What does that mean? Today I have really bad back pain and nausea. I’m just scared this is much more than just a back ache.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book if you suffer from any kind of chronic pain. Even if your doctor has pronounced judgement that he/she knows what’s causing things, try this book. As the author says, trigger point therapy should be the first course of treatment: it’s easy and cheap.

IN WOULD DEFENITLY GET A SECOND OPINION. ARE YOU RUNNING A FEVER? IF NOT IT IS PROBABLY NOT AN INFECTION. BUT I HAVE HAD KIDNEY PROBLEMS BEFORE AND IT IS VERY PAINFUL. I CAN UNDERSTAND YOU BEING SCARED. ANYTIME YOU KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG AND THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT IT IS YOU GET SCARED. JUST GO AND GET CHECKED OUT AGAIN!!! GOOD LUCK!!

Trust me, you’d know. The pain is excruciating. Tylenol #3 with codeine doesn’t even help.
The Dr should be able to tell from a simple urine test.
