Is backache a sign of pregnancy?
Can someone tell me if backache a sign of pregnancy?
I think I may be pregant and I have had some terrible backaches lately. Just curious to know if backache is a symptom of pregnancy.

I think that usually backaches do come later on in pregnancy. But I am only 14 weeks pregnant and I have been having some pretty uncomfortably backaches and pain. But of course I only weighed 99 pounds when I got pregnant and now I have gained 6. I know that doesn’t seem like alot for alot of ppl but I guess it is for my body because it’s definetly letting me know it. Well to answer you question I’m not so sure and I don’t think that anyone else here really is either but, I just think you should go right now (if it’s been long enough) and get a over the counter pregnancy test. Hey! even those 1 dollars babies that everyone talks bad about work like a charm because that’s indeed what told me and I even did two of them and both said yes and were very correct. So best wishes and I truely hope that you get the answer you want.
It can be…usually backaches in women are associated with premenstrual pains, but if you are experiencing backaches, and you have other signs of pregnancy (missed periods, stomach upset, etc.) it could be.
I would get tested right away, just to make sure. Just because if you are pregnant, you want to get prenatal checkups asap (i’m an advocate for healthy babies). Good luck (and maybe congratulations? lol)
low back pain can be part of the pregnancy realm but usually not this early in the game – seek medical advice
it can be mostly i think it happens in your lower back pain i had a freind who experience it in the early stages of her pregnancy before anything else but if you havent experienced other symptoms of pregnancy like missing a period, gaining weight, food cravings, swollen breasts, etc. then i wouldnt count on it being because of that, if you do think you are pregnant though i would get a pregnancy test or go to the doctor, if take a pregnancy test and its neg then i would definately see a doctor especially if it is lower back pain, that can be a sign of a kidney infection and other problems, or it could be a new symptom of starting your period soon, my back didnt used to hurt that time of the month but it does now, ooooor you could need a new mattress, but in anycase i WOULD go see a doctor for your health and well being
I dnt noe but my opinion is a NO. My untie knew she was pregnant wen my mom was making fried rice wit garlic & she felt all nasiouse usually she loves my mom’s food! Then my mom sed take a pregnancy test…my untie did, uess waht SHE WAS PREGANANT!

I have 3 kids and the only back pain i had was at the end of all of them, if you think you might be preggo take a test and if you don’t feel that’s reliable then go to the DR and ask for a blood test. as for the women’s hair dresser, umm hello she is on her feet all day long it was just luck she found out she was pregnant.

Yes, my hairdressers only clue she was pregnant was backpain. She was FOUR MONTHS ALONG before she went to the doctor for back pain. Weird, huh?

yes it is but usually during the later stages of the pregnancy and not during the first trimester.
Best way to find out if you are pregnant will be to get a home test kit and if it is positive, please go see your family doctor to confirm.
back ache happens late in pregnancy from the weight of the child, you shouldnt have back ache from pregnancy before about 8 mo.
