I had physio for sciatica, and the physio suggested she did acupuncture following one of the sessions. Told her I didn’t really have much faith in it but if she thought there was any chance of it helping then I’d give it a try.
I was amazed that it helped immediately and I continued pain free for about 2 weeks.

Acupuncture is actually an amazing experience. If done correctly, it really can alleviate a lot of your pain.

You have heard of the "Ice Man"? The mummy that was freeze dried over 5000 yrs ago and found when a glacier was melting on a mt. top. He was found to have tattoos (dots) that marked acupuncture points in his lumbar to treat his degenerated discs.

I personally have not had it done, but I have heard from alot of people that it is amazing. I don’t see what harm it could do.
I have a damaged sciatic nerve due to a herniated disc compressing it. I will not go anywhere near a chiropractor, but i would absolutely be comfortable seeing an accupuncturist.
