Sciatica Pain Preventing Orgasm
I have been diagnosed with sciatica going down my left leg and since the pain I cannot orgasm,is this related?
My left leg goes numb and it hurts to spread my legs apart and having an orgasm is near impossible, I am wondering if since the symptoms have started together if it is possible they are related somehow?

Leg-spreading decreases the space around the sciatic nerve & can cause more leg area pain. If you feel pain when pressing just above your pubic-area (‘mound’) that can be a cause of orgasmic problem.
Find a Naturopath (ND) or Osreopath (DO) who does soft-tissue work & get better quickly.
Treat the inflammation with cold packs. Ice packs wrapped in a towel placed on the area of pain for up to 20 minutes several times a day help reduce inflammation. This treatment is especially beneficial for the first 48 hours of pain.
Only related by the fact that the pain is taking away your concentration.
Try doing it kneeling down, him from behind, as this will relieve the pain at the source which is in your lower back.
It also gives him new angles of you to explore.
Your right in assuming that it’s related to your organism. The nerves that run down the spinal cord also are connected to these nerves. It also concerns the bladder and colon. They’re all connected to the same nerve field.
Have you seen a doctor yet ? this would be the first step. Good luck.
yes it could be try various positions for best result
Oh Man! do I know what that pain is like , Try being a man with shooting pain down the legs and my pain shoots through my groin/genitals too! Getting to orgasm it not as hard as staring hard when the pain starts shooting! You may want to try different positions, When I was P.T. they gave me a pamphlet that illustrated different positions for people with back pain. Have you tried it on your knees with him behind you? Try that with pillows piled up under your belly. Good Luck!!
yes, it can be due to the pain you are having or the medicines you are taking to control the pain, such as anti-seizure medicines or low-dose "thin-chain" anti-depressants or the newer anti-depressants that are used as analgesics (pain relievers) for this condition.
See your health care provider as soon as possible (neurologist). Nerves can also be compressed near their roots as they emerge from the spinal cord. Pressure can come from arthritis bone spurs, protruding disks, disk fragments, or overgrowth of bone surrounding the hole through which the nerve exits (spinal stenosis).
The most common spinal compression neuropathy, sciatica, probably has better name recognition than some members of the Supreme Court. Pressure on the long sciatic nerve produces a burning ache that radiates from the buttock down the back of the thigh, into the lower leg and foot. Leg weakness can occur because of muscle atrophy. Yes, this may have some problems with an orgasms, see your doctor. And good luck.
