No not medication, that only masks the pain. It's muscles spasms associated with sciatica. Stretching is the key to cure this. Google: online health mart sciatica it should be the top hit and check out the EZ Up inversion system and the stretching ball and read the pages. Inversion therapy will definitely help you with your pain. take care.

This will take two people to do. The person with the pain lays at an others feet. The other person puts their heel on your buttocks and rubs vigorously for a half hour.

Another way is pain killers, but that should be avoided as it's only a temporary fix and eventually doesn't work any more.

Sorry to say but it is time to start some medication. At ten years (which just blows my mind anyone would do it that long) your chiro has done all he ever will be able to do, which ain't much!

Start low and go slow with the meds. The first one I would suggest if you were my patient is Tylenol Arthritis. You take 2 tablets, 3 times a day whether or not you are in pain. The idea is to keep enough medicine in your system that you are not in pain. I might also consider some Dolobid to reduce some inflammation. I think that ultimate though, you are probably need some opioid medication to help your pain, that is EVENTUALLY. Our treatment needs to goal around keeping you comfortable with non-opioid meds as long as possible.

Word of warning, be sure to talk to your personal health care provider before starting any new treatments or medication. I am a health care provider but I am not YOURS. I just try to steer you in the right direction so you'll know what to expect when you see yours!

Best Wishes!

Hey,

I had sciatica for years and found a way to cure it naturally without drugs.

In short, I went to this website, http://www.treatsciatica.info and bought the sciatica guide, and in about 8 days I was fine – and no reoccurrence of it.

You should check it out.

Just trying to keep you from risky surgery if its not needed. You should try all options, with surgery as last resort. This is what worked for me, and I encourage you to try also. It is truly amazing

Here is a link to a story by a doctor who actually used the system in the resource box.
