Heat, strong counter-pressure or massage, soaking in a warm bath. I personally found strong counter pressure and massage to work best. Like, so strong that hubby's arms got really tired from pushing so hard.

Heat - hot water bottle. Just wrap two hand towels around it untill it cools a little. then take off one hand towel. so only one is around it. I've heard ppl saying to take a warm bath or shower also. Good Luck and congrats on ur soon to be born baby!

Yes. You should definitely get one of those hot packs. The kind that's electrical and you plug into the wall. Also, take it easy and remember to breathe. They should pass if they are Braxton Hicks. Remember, that you could very well be in labor and not know it. I was 38 weeks and 2 days when I had my daughter and I had already dialated to 4cm and didn't know it.

Throw everyone out of the room including well-meaning significant others, moms, nurses, everyone - - -and meditate alone. Go inward and bear the pain.
